Earlier today it was my great pleasure to hook up with Daniel and his mum, Cat, for a portrait session to celebrate his 18th birthday and his acceptance onto a game reserve ranger’s experience this coming July in South Africa.

Beautiful day with glorious sunshine streaming down on Yorkshire made for fabulous conditions for creating relaxed family portraits in the great outdoors.

Can’t wait to show the family all of their images but here’s a sneak peek:

I met up with Fiona and Kevin and their lovely sons, Jake and Nathaniel a couple of weeks ago to provide mum and dad with some fresh, new images of their ever developing boys.

It was cold but Jake & Nat got into it seeing who could make the other laugh first.

Like all our location based portrait photography we went to the family, and shot in locations they were familiar with. We find this puts people at ease so the natural side of Jake & Nat came to the fore.

Another busy few weeks here at HQ. Plans continue apace for the Wedding and Lifestyle Show in Feb 2010. Christmas cards arrived from Tiny Prints and have duly been completed and are in the mail.

This week also saw us provide PR coverage for Louis Vuitton at their Leeds store private Christmas opening. A great evening of champagne, canapes, big band tunes and shopping for some of the most exclusive merchandise around. Really fantastic bunch of people to work with and look forward to a reprise very soon.

We finished the week with a shoot with Jake and Nathaniel, two great lads, whose Mum and Dad want to refresh their home art and tell Jake & Nat’s story for where they are right now in life. Images from that shoot will be posted once the family have seen them.

Had a brief but fun portrait photography session with Charlotte and her mum, Emma, earlier this week in Cumbria. Being a teenager Charlotte was clearly fashion-minded and as mum was keen to get the images Charlotte wanted we went for a more fashion edged shoot.
