Hot on the heels of our pre-wedding shoot with Sarah & Ed followed their wedding, yesterday, in the delightfully picturesque seaside resort of Filey. Though both based in Leeds, Sarah & Ed have a real soft spot for Filey and so decided to marry at the 12th Century St Oswald’s and then celebrate their nuptials with family and friends at The White Lodge Hotel overlooking Filey’s resplendent bay.
With a wonderfully sunny day everyone basked in the sunshine as we provided our trademark relaxed approach to wedding photography.
Here are just a few images from the day, more to follow when the couple return from a fabulous honeymoon in Africa.

Sarah had these fabulous shoes handmade by Hassall.

Hundreds of white rose petals cascaded down on the newlywed couple during the ceremony; a delightful surprise arranged by Ed’s mum, Elizabeth.

Although a boisterous bunch the ushers provided Ed and Sarah with a surprise gift of a hot air ballon safari whilst they honeymoon in Africa.

Sarah & Ed reflect on a whirlwind day as the sun sets over Filey.
